Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I started advertising in the Rockingham County Phone Book in 2003. I have to
admit that running my business thru their yellow pages has increased public
awareness of what we offer throughout Rockingham County.
The growth that our investment has made us is simply phenomenal. From a business
standpoint you are WASTING MONEY if you’re using ANY other yellow page listing!
The customer service that we received from these guys can’t be beat.
Sincerely,
Bette S. Hutchens

Thank you for another great ad in the Rockingham County Phone Book. I have been
very pleased with our ad each year and the number of calls we receive from only
advertising in the “One Book”.
Our company was left out of the other book in Reidsville two years ago and our
only ad was in the “One Book” and after the great results we had that year I
choose to only advertise in the “One Book”.
Sincerely,

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I wanted to send you a short letter thanking Tarheel Publishing for the Johnston
County-Wide Phone Book as it has been a great way to advertise my business. I am
able to reach all Johnston County residents in one easy to use phone book. The
response and comments from my clients have been overwhelmingly positive.
Advertising in your book has been one of the best investments I have made.
I believe advertising my business on the inside front cover has greatly
contributed to our increase in new patients due to the popularity of the book. I
would encourage other businesses to consider advertising in the Johnston
County-Wide Phone Book. I am confident each business will be pleased with the
advertisement value, and surprised with the return on investment.
Thanks Again,

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I am happy to write this letter outlining the reasons why the Rockin’ Comet
Diner has changed its yellow page advertising from Sprint to Tarheel Publishing
in the Johnston County telephone directory.
Sprint renewed our yellow page advertising this year without contacting us. Too
late we discovered they have a clause somewhere in the contract that allows them
to renew your ad without your knowledge or permission. To us this is unfair and
deceptive trade practice.
We also did not know that the Sprint yellow pages did not cover all of Johnston
County with the one publication. You must be in 3 Sprint and 1 BellSouth
directories to cover all that Tarheel Publishing’s Johnston County-Wide Phone
Book covers.
Tarheel Publishing’s book is consolidated alphabetically instead of separated by
cities and towns, which makes it much easier to find what you are looking for.
We at the diner are happy to be a part of this new “Yellow Pages”. They provide
the service we thought we were getting all along.
Sincerely,
Ben Merrill

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
We are extremely happy to express in writing our satisfaction with our
advertisement this past year in the Harnett County & Fuquay-Varina Area Phone
Book.
We have been pleasantly surprised by the return we have received on our
investment. We have received numerous coupons each month, which proves to us
that our advertisement is reaching everyone in the area.
In addition, we have been pleased with the exceptional customer service and
professionalism of our sales consultant and the support staff. We have been so
thrilled with our response that we have elected to do a specialty spot in the
upcoming edition of the Harnett County & Fuquay-Varina Area Phone Book.
Clearly, the One Book Phone Book has benefited our practice and the community by
providing an excellent resource for information.

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I wanted to take a minute to let you and your potential customers know why I am
so pleased with my advertisement in your directory.
I was very pleased with the overall appearance and quality of my ad. Your art
department designed a great ad that I am now using in other directories.
The fantastic results from your book were the most important. I received both
“big ticket” jobs as well as numerous calls for smaller jobs that are important
to keeping my business successful.
Overall I am very pleased with my experience with your company and would
encourage others to advertise in your directory.
Sincerely,
Ricky Temple

Dear Tarheel Publishing,
I wanted to let you, and your potential advertisers, know about the outstanding
response we’ve received from your directory advertising programs.
We spend a great deal of money on advertising, so it is important for us to
receive a significant return on every dollar spent. We’d contracted for three of
you directories, and I was amazed that in only two weeks we’d covered the cost
of all three. I contacted my representative, to let him know this, and was even
more shocked to find that only one of the three books were out yet.
In short, in just six months, we’ve made ten times our initial investment!!
We’ve not only renewed our contracts, but also increased our program to market
other services offered at our facility.
In the initial appointment we were promised a professional and courteous service
that would provide results. I’m happy to report that your organization has
delivered on all accounts!!

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I am very happy to let you, and your potential customers, know how well The One
Book Phone Book had performed for my auto repair service. Advertising in your
directory has become a real asset to my business.
This past year, I ran a second phone line that was published only in your
directory. I know anytime that phone rings, the call had to originate from The
One Book Phone Book.
After just one year, my one-twelfth page ad in the Henderson and Wake Forest
Area Wide Phone Book performs as well or better than my one-half page ad in the
Sprint-Wake Forest Directory.
Based on my results, I am happy to continue doing business with your company and
encourage others to advertise in The One Book Phone Book.
Sincerely,

Dear Tarheel Publishing:
I am pleased to write you this letter to let you know how much advertising in
your directory has helped our business.
Last year we were contacted by your company about advertising in the One Book.
Since I had been a loyal Sprint advertiser for many years, I was a bit surprised
that there was another phone directory in which to advertise in the area. The
best way for me to track the response and see which directory worked best was to
set up two separate lines. We could tell as soon as the book came out that we
were receiving a significant amount of business from the One Book. The cost of
the ad was four times less than Sprint and our return on investment has exceeded
what we had expected. As a local business, we need to advertise to keep our name
out there and the One Book is an effective way to get the most for our money.
When approached by the Sprint representative this year for their next directory,
we told them about the response we had received from your directory. The
salesperson misrepresented the situation and tried to tell us that they thought
your company was going out of business and that if not, your prices would double
for the next directory. Of course we found that not to be the case.
In our business we have to earn the trust of a customer to work on their
computer system. We should be able to trust our advertising account
representative in the same way. We plan to continue advertising in the One Book
because we have great results with our ad and the company.
Sincerely,
Dean White

"I would like to thank you first and formost for the service your staff has provided my company with. You have been there with great pricing and honest service from the day I have called you. You have been very generous in working around our hectic schedules with the busy seasons we have had. You are a valued provided to our company.
Our heating & air company services the Southern Harnett County area and it was hard to get our name to those residents who need our services. I called your company when we expanded and placed our advertisement in various areas in the book. The very day the book went out we started to receive calls. I was shocked! It has very much paid for itself and then some. This advertisement helped the Harnett County area know who we are and that we are here to help their needs.
The graphics you have designed also with our logo have also been outstanding. We are very pleased with the professionalism you applied to them. We have great coverage in the book and a quality look that is so very important to our business.
We look forward to continuing our business for many years to come."

"We are extremely happy to express in writing our satisfaction with our advertisement this past year in the Henderson and Wake Forest One Book Phone Book.
The cost of advertising in your book is extremely fair and of a greater value than other yellow pages. Since advertising in the Henderson and Wake Forest One Book Phone Book, the number of new patients has continually increased for my practice. Due to the popularity and wide distribution range of this book, I encourage other businesses to advertise with the One Book Phone Book. I am confident each business will be very satisfied with their return on investment."
